I started in systems programming, building event-driven architectures and optimizing memory under hard constraints. That foundation in low-level performance shaped how I approach every backend system: fast by default, resilient under load, observable in production.
Over 4.5 years I've shipped production backends in Python and FastAPI: high-throughput REST APIs, async data pipelines, and event-driven services that handle real-time telemetry, semantic search, and AI-powered workflows. I'm the author of a published PyPI package and an active open-source contributor to Starlette and LlamaIndex.
My focus today is AI engineering: building RAG pipelines, orchestrating LLM agents, and designing systems where retrieval, synthesis, and tool-use work together under strict latency and reliability constraints.

Built FastAPI-based REST APIs and telemetry pipelines connecting real-time simulation data to Python backend services. Designed and implemented a concurrent processing/entity-simulation system (ECS) for real-time data handling. Containerized application microservices with Docker and optimized complex PostgreSQL queries across high-volume tables to reduce latency and ensure transactional data integrity.

Developed internal automated processing pipelines and event-driven integrations with third-party microservices, eliminating hours of manual operational overhead per week. Designed and implemented audio systems and interactive sound behavior using MetaSound and Blueprints, applying SOLID design principles and Clean Code. Conducted performance optimization to ensure high-availability audio playback under hardware constraints.
Semantic search engine with multi-tier caching
Full-stack RAG engine built on LlamaIndex Workflows. Combines Chroma vector search with a Redis HNSW semantic cache for sub-millisecond repeated-query responses. Event-driven ingestion pipeline with configurable chunking, embedding, and metadata filtering.
AI agent orchestration framework
Agent orchestration system built on Google ADK and Gemini, with a FastAPI backend for multi-agent workflows. Implements tool-use patterns, inter-agent communication, and structured output pipelines for complex AI tasks.
CLI tool for file automation
Command-line utility for automated file organization and batch processing. Handles directory scanning, rule-based file routing, and batch renaming with configurable templates.

Lightweight health-check middleware for FastAPI applications backed by Neo4j. Provides startup/shutdown lifecycle hooks, connection pool monitoring, and detailed health endpoints for orchestrators and load balancers.
